Program Overview

BMW Roadside Assistance is an incredible program that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It includes a variety of services that can help you in the event of an emergency, such as:

• Fuel delivery¹
• Tire changes
• Lock-out services
• Battery jump starts

If your BMW has been in an accident or has mechanical issues while on the road, this program allows you to request towing services quickly and easily to a nearby authorized BMW Center.

In addition to emergency roadside service, BMW Roadside Assistance can help you when your trips are unexpectedly interrupted by arranging alternate transportation, helping with hotel accommodations, and more.

Contacting BMW Roadside Assistance

If you find you need any of the previously mentioned services, be sure to contact BMW Roadside Assistance. There are a few ways you can request assistance, including:

• Call the toll-free number: 1-800-332-4BMW (800-332-4269)
• Press the BMW Assist SOS button in your vehicle²
• Select BMW Roadside Assistance from the BMW Assist menu in ConnectedDrive or the BMW Connected app

Along with the BMW Roadside Assistance team, the Master Technician Team (MTT) may also contact you to provide additional assistance in the event of an emergency.

Eligibility Requirements

There are a few eligibility requirements for BMW Roadside Assistance. If you purchase a new BMW, you’ll have access to this program for four years from the in-service date of your vehicle. However, if you bought a BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, you’ll be covered for up to six years.

When you use BMW Roadside Assistance, there is no additional cost for this service.³ There are also no mileage restrictions, and you’re covered in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada. If someone else drives your BMW and needs assistance, your vehicle is still covered.
